On March 21st NCBFAA announced that it will be hosting an ACE Software Developer Session on May 21, 2013 at the Sheraton Baltimore Washington Airport –BWI in which CBP will be addressing upcoming operational and technical changes related to:

1) ACE Transition and de-commissioning issues

2) PGA Message Set;

3) Entry Summary Validations;

4) Entry Corrections and Cancellations; and

5) AES Re-Engineering/Manifest Baseline development.

CBP is interested in hearing from trade software developers regarding the transition needs and challenges for the trade as we deploy functionality in smaller releases on a more frequent basis.

For your reference, attached is the preliminary agenda for the May 21, 2013 ACE Software Developer Session. Additional information will be provided to registrants prior to the event. Please note that registrants will be expected to thoroughly review all provided background material prior to the session as CBP will be leading focused topical discussions that will necessitate familiarity with the documentation.

These sessions will be very valuable in preparing importers, exporters, brokers, and their software developers for the upcoming deployments of ACE functionality. We strongly encourage your participation in this session.
