CBP is experiencing issues with BTA Prior Notice processing posting properly to bills and inbonds that are BTA satisfied.
As an interim measure, the trade can take the following steps.
For inbond or FTZ admissions with stand-alone prior notice, either via ABI or FDA PNSI, provide CBP at the port with proof of prior notice submission in the form of a paper screenshot with the prior notice confirmation numbers associated with inbond or bill of lading as returned via ABI or the PNSI website.
We will advise via another CSMS message when normal processing procedures resume.
