Please be advised that the regular ACE Maintenance Window (Saturday 2300 EDT - Sunday 0500 EDT) may be extended this weekend, Sunday, August 05, 2012. If needed, the extended window is scheduled from Sunday 0500 EDT – 0800 EDT (8:00am). If the extended maintenance window is required, a notification will be sent as soon as maintenance is complete and ACE becomes available.
In addition to deploying ACE application changes, the ACE Maintenance Window is used to upgrade hardware (when needed), maintain enterprise infrastructure, tune databases for performance, and perform other routine system maintenance. An extension to the normal Saturday 2300 EDT through Sunday 0500 EDT window is often requested to ensure that both the maintenance work and any application deployment can be successfully backed out in the event of a deployment problem.
Please plan accordingly.
