CSMS # 66674007 - Enhanced ACE Portal Account Application Now Available – Ensure CBP Form 5106 Information Is Up-to-Date

On October 30, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) automated the process for applying for a new Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Secure Data Portal (ACE Portal) top account with the Importer sub-account view. If needed, trade parties with an existing CBP Form 5106 (5106 record) on file with CBP and without existing ACE Portal account access should now use the new automated application to apply for ACE Portal access with the Importer sub-account view. The new application tool is available at this link: ACE Portal Importer Account Application

The new tool is also now available on CBP’s Applying for an ACE Portal Account webpage.

To help users implement the new tool, CBP prepared the following training guide: Automated ACE Portal Account Application for Importers
