CSMS # 64927576 - ACE Air, Ocean and Rail CAMIR New Disposition Codes - Invalid Cargo Description
The ACE Air Import Manifest Appendix A and the ACE Ocean/Rail Import Manifest Appendix D implementation guides have been updated with the following disposition codes:
- 8H – Invalid Cargo Description Hold Placed
- 8I – Invalid Cargo Description Hold Removed
- 9H – Invalid Consignee Hold Placed
- 9I - Invalid Consignee Hold Removed
- 4H – Invalid Shipper Hold Placed
- 4I – Invalid Shipper Hold Removed
- 6H – No Load*
- 6I – Release of No Load*
These disposition codes are related to holds placed for invalid cargo description, shipper, or consignee information, and are part of the automated rejection of insufficient cargo description enhancement in ACE. These codes are not yet deployed in the CERT or production environment. The CERT and deployment date will be announced in a later CSMS message.
*Please note that the 6H and 6I disposition codes are only updated in the ACE Air Import Manifest Appendix A implementation guide.
