An updated draft version of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Supplemental Guide (SG) (Draft Version 2.5.12, dated 1/15/25) has been posted in the ‘Draft Chapters: Future Capabilities’ section of CBP.gov.

The following updates were made for Non-PN Food or PN Requirements Previously Met, Section 10.2 & Appendix E, deployed in CERT on December 16th, 2024:

Updated Intended Use Code (IUC) description/required value in table 10-3.
IUC 970.000 and 980.000 FDA Import Scenario for Ceramicware and other food contact substances (CCW) were corrected.
Import Scenario for IUC 130.029 was clarified.
Appendix E updated for IUC 130.029.

Review the Change Log in the draft document for all changes included in SG Draft Version 2.5.12.
