This CSMS serves as an UPDATE to CSMS # 62957608. The year was erroneously transmitted as 2025. This has been updated to reflect the correct implementation date of November 12, 2024.

This serves as a reminder that CBP will implement rejections for vague cargo descriptions in ACAS effective 12:00 pm EST on November 12, 2024.

A list of unacceptable vs acceptable cargo descriptions can be found on the CBP website at:
