CSMS # 62931096 - Various Cargo Release and Manifest Chapters Updated
The Draft ACE Cargo Release CATAIR, Cargo Release Condition Codes, The Standard Truck Manifest Customs Response (CUSRES) Status Notification Message, and ANSI X.12 Truck Import Manifest Implementation Guide 350 Customs Status Information documents have been updated.
The Draft ACE Cargo Release CATAIR:
- The changes made were to the SE20 record to add a new reference identifier qualifier code, the SE60 record to add a new sanction disclaim indicator, the addition of new SE62 and SE63 records for sanctions, updated input usage maps to include the newly created SE62 and SE63 records and the removal of the appendix C section of the CATAIR.
The Cargo Release Condition Codes document was updated to include several new error codes pertaining to sanctions, to include codes 300 - 313.
The Standard Truck Manifest Customs Response (CUSRES) Status Notification Message was updated to include:
- Added new valid status notification code: SN517 Section 321’s maximum daily value $800 exceeded by Consignee in the ERC (06560) segment C901:9321
ANSI X.12 Truck Import Manifest Implementation Guide 350 Customs Status Information was updated to include:
- Changes to the K1 remarks field, increasing the number of maximum characters from 30 to 60.
- Added new valid disposition code: 95 – Warning generated as a result of a violation of Section 321’s maximum daily value of $800 by consignee. (Appendix of X407 Disposition Codes)
