CSMS # 61665395 - REMINDER: ACE Reports: Mandatory Prompt for Company ACE ID – Next Universes to Be Affected August 8, 2024
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is beginning to require trade community users to identify the subject company whenever a report is run or scheduled in Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Reports. This change will allow CBP to eliminate a data security vulnerability for all users and improve functionality for users with access to more than one account. All existing scheduled reports will need to be updated after this change has taken effect, or the scheduled reports will fail. This change is being rolled out to ACE Reports data universes until completion.
The following universes will roll out on August 8, 2024:
- ITRAC Examinations
- Liquidation
- Liquidation Bulletin
- Reconciliation
- Refunds
For more information, including training materials, please review the ACE Reports: New Mandatory Trade User ACE ID Information Notice for Trade Users here.
Please note, the Automated Export System (AES), Cargo Release, and Entry Summary universes have been deferred to a later date. The information notice reflects those changes, as well as the addition of the AD/CVD Reference universe and the removal of the Collections, Harmonized Tariff Schedule, and Trade Accounts universes.
