CSMS # 59014628 - ACE Portal Modernization: CBP Completes Additional Updates to the Modernized ACE Portal

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recently deployed the following updates to account functionality in the modernized ACE Portal:

• Users can no longer create multiple address records of the same kind in a single account view
• Users can no longer create multiple contact records of the same kind in a single account view
• Users’ first and last name will now display in the “Last Set By” field of the Mode of Communication section in the Details tab of an Importer account
• Blanket Declarations will now load when users click the “Enter” button
• Users can now edit the “Qualifier End Date” field on a broker permit record
• Users will now see an alert message when additional information is needed to save an account record
• Taxpayer ID validations are now consistently displayed throughout all account views
• Users will now only be able to edit Physical Address records in account type records
• User address information will now be updated during Broker account employee bulk uploads
