CSMS # 58799368 - ACE Portal Modernization – CBP Completes Updates to Organizational Broker Account Functionality
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recently deployed the following updates to Organizational Broker account functionality in the modernized ACE Portal:
- Account Owners (AO) and Proxy Account Owners (PAO) can now edit national permit employee address information by clicking on the edit button (pencil icon).
- The employee address “Suite” field is now populated in the employee record when the suite information is provided in the Bulk Upload feature.
- Birth State/Province code is now populated in the employee record when provided in the Bulk Upload feature.
- Under permit records, users can no longer add multiple address records of the same type.
- Users can now add employees individually via the Bulk Upload feature.
- Users can now create additional address types for a national permit under an Organizational Broker account.
- Only active licensed broker employees are now displayed in the Licensed Brokers tab of an Organizational Broker account’s Broker Permit view.
- When a broker employee record is updated with an end date, the system will now remove that record if the employee is marked as a licensed broker and is listed in the Licensed Brokers tab of an Organizational Broker account’s national permit record. If the employee record has already been end-dated, remove the end date, add it again to the record, click save, and refresh the internet browser window. If the employee record is not removed from the Licensed Broker tab after completing those steps, open a CBP Service Now ticket with the ACE Accounts Service Desk at ACE.Support@cbp.dhs.gov.
