CSMS # 58107408 - The ACE Agency Tariff Code Reference document has been updated with new guidance for EPA HFCs.

The updated ACE Agency Tariff Code Reference document can be found here: https://www.cbp.gov/document/guidance/agency-tariff-code-agency-program-cross-reference.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has added a ‘must’ flag for Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs); updated the disclaims allowed for EH1; and is not using EH3:

· EH1 EPA Hydrofluorocarbons data may be required. Only disclaim A allowed.

· EH2 EPA Hydrofluorocarbons data is required.

These flags are expected to be added to HTS codes in CERT at the beginning of December and in PROD in early January, to align with the EPA HFC CERT and PROD deployment dates.
