CSMS # 57327470 - Update to planned deployment date related to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to Process Port of Entry (PoE) Changes through ACE

This CSMS provides an update to the planned deployment date mentioned in CSMS #56706605, 56355171, 5664200.

FDA expects to begin processing PoE changes via ACE, including sending the new reason codes in Production no earlier than September 9, 2023. An additional CSMS message will be sent prior to that date, to provide an update on, or confirm, the planned deployment date.

Based on feedback received from trade, FDA will only send an acknowledgment of a PoE change for PGA lines with the full message set. An acknowledgement will not be sent for FDA disclaimed lines. The Information for FDA Entry Filings document on CBP.gov has been updated to reflect this change.

FDA and CBP appreciate the testing conducted thus far and encourage trade to continue testing in CERT.
