CSMS #52081601 - Known Issue: UK Aluminum Quota

CBP is aware that the published guidance for the 2022 First Period Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for Aluminum Articles of the United Kingdom (UK) does not align with the Annex to Presidential Proclamation 10405, dated May 31, 2022 (see 87 FR 33583, FRN 2022-12097). CBP is working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Pending resolution, the trade community should continue to follow the guidance in the 2022 First Period Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for Aluminum Articles of the United Kingdom. Once the issue is resolved, CBP will issue further instructions, which may require the trade community to update their entry summaries with corrected HTSUS numbers.
