CSMS #51025741 - REMINDER: ACE Portal Changes Coming on February 20 and Deployment Support Call Scheduled for February 22
Information on ACE Portal Modernization – Phase 1
On January 22, 2022, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) successfully deployed the first phase of the ACE Portal Modernization. The first phase includes a new login screen, a new home page, and upgraded user account information display and edit features.
To access the modernized ACE Portal, users must first create a modernized ACE Portal account. As part of this process, users will complete a one-time sync of existing ACE Portal access by entering their legacy ACE Portal username and password. ACE Portal users are strongly encouraged to log in to the modernized ACE Portal before February 20, 2022.
Beginning February 20, users will no longer be able to log in from the legacy ACE Portal login page. At that time, the legacy login page will redirect users to the modernized ACE Portal. While users may continue to log in via the legacy ACE Portal login page until February 20, users are still encouraged to log in to the modernized portal before February 20 to avoid potential delays in any required account support resulting from a high volume of support requests.
Between January 22, 2022, and the final deployment of the ACE Portal enhancements in January 2023, users will have access to both the modernized ACE Portal and the legacy ACE Portal (accessed via the modernized ACE Portal). During this period, CBP will continuously synchronize data between both versions.
CBP suggests using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome to access all features of the modernized ACE Portal.
CBP will conduct an ACE Portal Modernization Deployment Support Call for trade users on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 2 p.m. ET. Please join the meeting using this meeting link. Participants are encouraged to join at the start of the call when TTO will provide a brief deployment status update. A question-and-answer segment will follow. Calls may end early if all questions have been addressed.
