On February 24, 2021, CBP LAX Cargo building reported all computers and telephone lines are down. Passenger Operations is not experiencing any computer or telephone issues at this time.
Details:
The LAX Cargo Building reported all computers and telephones are inoperable since 0715 hours. Computers have come back on line but no network connectivity. No intranet or email access at the cargo building.
LAX- OIT is on site at the cargo building mitigating the current issues.
Help Desk provided Work Ticket 0340488 for a nationwide issue involving computers, telephones and internet access.
The Help Desk also provided a local ticket number of 0340501 for computer and telephone issues.
Trade is implementing downtime procedures.
ECCF facilities and the International Mail Facility have connectivity and power. No impact.
Passenger Operations is not affected by this outage. Computers and phones are functional. Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) has processed flights using Simplified Arrival and Unified Secondary without issue.
No impact to operations at Las Vegas McCarran International.
LAX Areas of Responsibility from the Cargo Building are relocating to Passenger Operations TBIT for computer access.
