Harmonized System Update (HSU) 2101 was created on January 12, 2021 and contains 389 ABI records and 72 harmonized tariff records.

System modifications were made to support the United States Trade Representative’s (USTR) extension of certain Section 301 China product exclusions and granting new exclusions to address Covid-19 medical supply needs. The extensions and modifications will take effect on January 1, 2021, and will extend through March 31, 2021. Further, changes were mandated by the United States Trade Representative’s (USTR). USTR is revising its Section 301 EU LCA action, imposing additional duties on certain products of France and Germany. The revised list will take effect on January 12, 2021.
