CSMS #44245522 - CMA CGM IT Issues

CGA CGM Shipping Lines IT systems are down across multiple US sites and business units due to an ongoing cyber-attack. As a result, CBP has approved for all CGA CGM Shipping lines to be exempt from the 24 hour rule. CGA CGM will be allowed to load cargo on vessels and should not be penalized for failure to comply with the 24 hour rule and Importer Security Filing requirements. Effective September 27, 2020 at 2200 hrs – until further updates/guidance is issued.
