CSMS #44153809 - Adjustment of certain COBRA customs user fees and limitations for Fiscal Year 2021 deployed in ACE on 9/19/2020

Adjustment of certain COBRA customs user fees and limitations for Fiscal Year 2021 in accordance with the FAST Act, including, but not limited to:

Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) for Formal Entry (499) limits changed to minimum $27.23 / maximum $528.33;
Fee for Informal Entry or Release (automated and not prepared by CBP personnel) (311) changed to $2.18;
Surcharge for Manual Entry or Release (500) changed to $3.27;
Dutiable Mail Fee (496) changed to $5.99.

Other adjusted fees and limitations can be found in 85 FR 45646 (July 29, 2020). These adjustments will be applied to importations effective October 1, 2020. Note that the new amount will be in effect for a summary pre-filed prior to October 1, 2020 if the relevant entry date is on or after October 1, 2020.
