CSMS #42219778 - ACE Entry Summary (AE) transactions with X-V sets receiving error P00 PGA DATA MISSING PER PGA FLAG incorrectly on the X line
ACE Entry Summary transactions (AE) that certified for ACE Cargo Release are incorrectly receiving the error P00 PGA DATA MISSING PER PGA FLAG on the ‘X’ line of the entry summary when reporting GRI 3 essential character sets (also known as X and V sets). The error occurs when the tariff reported on the X line of the set is flagged for PGA reporting. If the filer adds PGA data to the ‘X’ line, the error message PW6 PGA DATA NOT ALLWD IN X-LINE is sent on the entry.
The ACE technical team identified the solution and the fix is scheduled to be deployed on Thursday morning (04/02/2020). Filers whose entry submission can wait, can resubmit their transactions successfully on Thursday.
For shipments that can’t wait until Thursday, the filer can send an ACE Cargo Release (SE) transaction. Since the reporting of X and V indicators is only a part of entry summary filing, the SE transaction does not encounter this error. Note that what would be the ‘X’ tariff line is not reported on the SE transaction. The SE is filed with the appropriate PGA information for the ‘V’ tariff numbers. The ACE Entry Summary (AE) transaction without cargo release can then be filed with the X-V indicators included for the appropriate entry summary lines.
A CSMS will be issued on Thursday morning to confirm deployment of the correction.
As reference, the ACE CATAIR Entry Summary Create/Update document, page 134, has guidance reporting the set provision on the entry summary.
