CSMS #41836997 - POSTPONED to March 16, 2020: Re-alignment of El Paso (2402) and Ysleta (2401); Ysleta will be a POE
**UPDATE: Original date of March 1st now changed to March 16th, and Ysleta port is to be a Port of Entry.
The Port of Ysleta, located at 797 S. Zaragosa, El Paso Texas 79907, has now been designated as port code 2401, and is designated to be a CBP Port of Entry.
As of March 16th, members of the Trade Community must transmit as follows:
MANIFEST
All E-manifests making arrival into the U.S. via the Port of Ysleta are required to use port code 2401.
ENTRY
Entry and Entry Summary transmissions for Yselta will utilize the port code 2401 to be the Port of Entry.
IN-BOND
For cargo arriving at Ysleta (2401) from Mexico and moving onward, the in-bond origination port will be 2401.
Destination port for in-bond merchandise arriving to El Paso or Ysleta will be 2402 or 2401, respectively, as appropriate.
FIRMS Code
The Port of Ysleta, Cargo Lot facility, new FIRMS code for port code 2401 is SCN9.
EXPORTS
2401 will be active for Electronic Export Information (EEI) submissions in AES. The accepted Mode of Transportation (MOT) types will be Road and Hand-Carried. Automated Export System Trade Interface Requirements (AESTIR) Appendix D Export Port Codes will be updated and published prior to March 16, 2020.

The Port of Ysleta Cargo Lot contact number for port 2401 is (915) 872-3434. The hours of operation are Monday thru Friday, 06:00 a.m. to midnight, Saturdays, 08:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m. Closed Sundays.
