CSMS #11-000267 issued 10/26/2011 announced the retroactive renewal of both the Andean Trade Preference Act (ATPA) and the Andean Trade Promotion and Drug Eradication Act (ATPDEA) programs through July 31, 2013.



The message omitted mention that all benefits conferred upon goods entered or eligible to be entered with special program indicator (SPI) “J” or “J+” were also applicable to goods entered or eligible to be entered with SPI “J*” or with HTSUS number 9821.
