CSMS #40956787 - Information on Rejects Related to Importer of Record (IOR) Numbers Not on File in ACE

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is aware of an ongoing issue with the Importer Create/Update (TP) transaction, which appears to have started yesterday afternoon. It has been brought to our attention that trade users are able to add/update the 5106 electronically, via the TP transaction, and the Importer/bond query will also indicate that the importer is on file, but any subsequent entry, entry summary, or bond filings are being rejected. Example reject messages include, but are not limited to: SOLD TO PARTY UNKNOWN, IMPORTER UNKNOWN, ENTITY IDENTIFER NOT ON FILE, or PRINC ID NUM NOT IN ACE.

CBP will issue an updated CSMS message when a fix is deployed to resolve this issue.
