CSMS #40055131 - Updated ACE FAST Truck EDIFACT MEDPID IGs now posted on CBP.GOV

The ACE FAST Truck EDIFACT MEDPID Implementation Guides (IGs) have been updated and posted in the Truck, "UNEDIFACT Preferred (FAST/NCAP)", section at the following link:
https://www.cbp.gov/trade/automated/technical/ace-import-manifest-documentation

This update adds the possibility of input and output Transponder identifications (IDs) that are 24 characters long, in addition to the current 16 characters long, into Notes that mention transponder ID. The Transponder ID field is used in the FAST MEDPID Conveyance Query and Response messages.

The expected Available in Certification date of the 24-character transponder ID in FAST is Thursday morning, October 10, 2019.
