CSMS #39137698 - UPDATE: Uruguay Beef Export Certificate Warning Message

Effective August 3, 2019 filers neglecting to transmit a valid beef certificate number with entries for Uruguay (UY) will receive the warning message. I692 MATCHING LIC/CERT/PERM NUMBER NOT FOUND.

Please refer to the ACE ABI CATAIR License/Certificate/Permit Detail (input 52-Record) for additional information on ABI input requirements.

Warning message I692 is provided to ensure the certificate number submitted with the line information is indeed a valid certificate number. CBP expects to transition from a warning message to a rejection message no sooner than November 2019 and will provide notice of that change in advance.

Beef export certificates are required to obtain in quota rate for Uruguay (UY) for the following tariff numbers:
