CBP is aware that error 771 “TRFF ADJSTMNT HTS OR EXCLSN MISSING” is incorrectly being triggered for some shipments using HTS 99038805. Many trade members have reached out to their assigned Client Representatives and tickets have been generated. The issue is being researched and fix is expected later today. A CSMS will be issued when the fix has been deployed.
