CBP is aware of a limitation within automatic quota processing when quota and trade remedy conditions overlap.

Manual input by HQ Quota will be needed to trigger quota processing when a quota entry summary line has three or more Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes (e.g., if the line is properly classified with two chapter 99 HTS codes (a section 301 HTS and a quota HTS) and the commodity HTS). Until a programming fix can be implemented, once you have successfully transmitted into ACE a summary including a quota line with three or more HTS codes, please email your entry details to HQQUOTA@cbp.dhs.gov and your assigned Client Representative for assistance.

When a fix to the programming has been made and manual input is no longer needed for this specific scenario, a follow up CSMS will be issued.
