This notice is to advise the trade community regarding 2018 quota tuna entry summaries, warehouse entry withdrawals or foreign trade zone (FTZ) etc., submitted for the 2018 quota opening. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will process liquidation based on the official proration amount provided by National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS).



Upon receipt of the information from NMFS, CBP will publish a quota bulletin on cbp.gov, quota page with results for 2018 tuna opening and process entry summaries according to the NMFS instructions.



For all unliquidated summaries, no action is required to request a refund. However, filer/brokers are advised to file a claim (i.e., Post Summary Correction (PSC) or protest to request duty refund) if the entry summary is liquidated in error.
