CBP is aware of an issue within the ACE Protest Module where Protest Filers are receiving an error ‘Saving Protest Failed’ when attempting to file a Protest. In many instances, this error was incorrect, and the Protest was successfully filed and a Protest number generated. These protests can be located by performing a search within the Protest Module. CBP will deploy a fix for this issue on 2/7/18 that will eliminate the incorrect receipt of this error by the Protest filer.
