With the transition of the Add Manufacturer Name and Address functionality from ACS to ACE this past week-end, the ACS version of the Query Manufacturer File (application $N) function has been disabled.
The Query Manufacturer File functionality in ACE is via application MA. The MA application must be used to successfully request manufacturer information from the CBP system. Remember that the ACE batch and block records must be used in the transmission for MA processing.
