The National Marine Fisheries Service has updated the Implementation Guide for the Seafood Import Monitoring Program (SIM) and it is posted at the below link. This IG is dated September 28th, 2017 and it contains only a single change to the previous SIM Program IG version dated September 20, 2017. The “RCS = Radio Call Sign” Description is removed and replaced by “VCS = Vessel Call Sign” as a Commodity Harvesting Vessel Characteristic Type Code the PG31 Record Description.
(Pease note that this change is for the NMFS Seafood Import Monitoring Guide dated September 20, 2017, not to be confused with the NMFS IG for three other NMFs programs which is dated September 20, 2016.)
