Trade Policy Updates

On Wednesday, August 16, 2017, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) published two Federal Register Notices (FRNs); 1) announcing the Automated Commercial Environment

(ACE) as the sole CBP-authorized Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system for

processing Duty Deferral Entry and Entry Summary filings and 2) providing an extension and clarification about the transition of the electronic Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Admission Application’s test program from the Automated Commercial System (ACS) to ACE.
