This is a reminder that on August 1, 2017, ACE will begin enforcing HTS flagging with a reject for import data not provided for the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), per DEA’s final rule (81 FR 96992, and 82 FR 8688). This means that trade must either provide full DEA Message Set data, or provide a valid disclaim code. For export data, PGA line data must be provided. DIS documents will also no longer be accepted for DEA.
