CBP Network Operations Center (NOC) technicians continue to actively work on resolving the VPN and queue connection issues that started early this morning. Some trade users are reporting not receiving or a delay in receiving CBP responses to their ACE EDI (electronic data interchange) messages. ACE is successfully processing many of the inbound messages, but outbound messages are transmitting slower than expected.
Due to the backlog of response messages that CBP has to send out, please do not retransmit EDI messages to ACE in hopes of getting a response. That will only add to the backlog.
