NOAA Fisheries is hosting a series of webinars in late May and during June to provide trade/industry constituents, in both the foreign and domestic arenas, information on the National Marine Fisheries Service Seafood Import Monitoring Program's (SIMP) traceability data reporting and record-keeping requirements.
The program's import reporting and records retention requirements will be mandatory effective January 1, 2018. Webinars will include an overview of this program, tentative time frames on pilot testing and discussion on requirements for reporting and record keeping.
