Per DEA’s final rule (81 FR 96992, and 82 FR 8688), trade filers must comply with DEA electronic filing requirements as of July 31, 2017. CBP will begin enforcing DEA’s requirements on August 1, 2017.
Summary of Changes (See Change Log for Detail)
This update requires the removal of the requirement to upload a DEA document into the DIS. This eliminates the “Y” in position 17 of the PG01 record.
