Publication of Four FRNs Concerning Liquidation, Drawback and Duty Deferral Filing, Modifications to PSC and PMS, and Reconciliation in ACE.



On Monday, December 12, 2016, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) published four notices in the Federal Register concerning the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). Topics for the published Federal Register Notices (FRNs) include:



• Liquidation - This final rule notice announces that the official notice of liquidation, suspension of liquidation, and extension of liquidation for entry summaries will be posted electronically on the CBP Website.

• Drawback/Duty Deferral - This general notice announces that ACE is the sole CBP-Authorized Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system for processing electronic Drawback and Duty Deferral Entry and Entry Summary Filings.

• Modifications and Clarifications to Post Summary Corrections (PSC) / Periodic Monthly Statement (PMS) - This general notice announces CBP’s plan to modify and clarify requirements for Post-Summary Corrections (PMS) claims and Periodic Monthly Statement (PMS) payments in ACE.
