Please direct this communication to your IT support personnel to ascertain how the following communications pertains to your current network connectivity solution.
Please be advised that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) must finalize migration of all remaining Trade partners that participate in the CBP Trade VPN Program and use MQ Client to communicate to CBP via Internet VPN (dynamic VPN client). The mandatory migration must be completed by 31 October 2011. After that date, the Trade Partners will lose their connectivity to CBP systems.
Trade partners please verify that you have complied with the attached instructions to implement a simple change to your configuration to allow your connection to be pointed to new DHS data center secure VPN gateways prior to 31 October 2011. If you have any questions or if you experience a connection problem after the October 31, 2011 migration end date, contact DHS/CBP at 1-877-347-1638 option 1.
