华盛顿—美国海关和边境保护局（CBP）今天宣布，自11月29日起，所有持中华人民共和国护照和10年期签证的旅客必须在签证更新电子系统（EVUS）进行登记才能赴美旅行。EVUS是一个在线系统，供持有10年期B1/B2、B1或B2（访问者）签证的中华人民共和国公民更新其个人基本信息，以便赴美旅行。登记的费用为8美元，登记的有效期为两年，或者截至旅客获得新的护照或者签证之时，以两者之中先到期者为准。
