As part of the 7/23 mandatory ACE cargo release deployment, three validations were deployed for type 21 warehouse entries. Since then, we have experienced a high rejection rate for warehouse entries. This is due to the reference data on file not being accurate. Consequently, this Saturday (7/30), the following validations will be turned off, so that the rejections of legitimate warehouse entries will cease:

Error Code Error Description

---------- -----------------

177 LOCATION OF GOODS IS OF INCORRECT FACILITY TYPE

An Add/Replace/Update transaction is submitted with FIRMS code that is not located in port of entry, facility type 02, must have active 04 type bond on the firms code record.

142 FIRMS CODE INELIGIBLE FOR ENTRY TYPE

An Add/Replace transaction is submitted with an ineligible FIRMS code.

152 FIRMS CODE IS OF INCORRECT FACILITY TYPE

An Add/Replace transaction is submitted with entry type 21 or 22. The FIRMS code submitted for the data field “CBP Bonded Warehouse (FIRMS)” in Record SE11 is not facility type 4 (Bonded Warehouse) with 02 (Custodial bond).
