Trade Policy Updates

As a reminder, as of July 23, 2016, electronic entries and entry summaries for the quota entry types (02, 07, 12, 21, 22, 31, 32, 34, and 38) must be filed in ACE, and will no longer be accepted in ACS. CBP has published an update to July 23, 2016 Information Notice to reflect current policy and guidance regarding Visa, eCERT and other Licenses, Permits and Certificates (LPCs). The updated information notice can be found at: https://www.cbp.gov/trade/ace/features/quota-ace.

In situations in which entries that are filed (not certified from summary) in ACS prior to July 23, 2016, but do not cross the border until after July 23, 2016, CBP will process the entry in ACS and the entry summary will be filed in ACE.

As with every maintenance outage window, ACE may take some time to process transactions that are queued up during the outage. CBP will be monitoring the transactions and will address any issues encountered.
