Trade Policy Updates

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has posted Version 9.2 of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Development and Deployment Schedule to CBP.gov. The ACE Development and Deployment schedule provides details concerning delivery of all trade processing capabilities in ACE by the end of 2016. A change log is included with the updated development/deployment schedule. Key changes include:



• August 27, 2016 – Mandatory use of ACE for filing electronic Protests



• October 1, 2016 - Mandatory use of ACE for all remaining electronic portions of the CBP cargo process (including Duty Deferral, Drawback, Reconciliation, Collections and Liquidation)



• TBD 2016 – Mandatory use of ACE for electronic filing of remaining Partner Government Agency (PGA) data
