ACE Portal Accounts
On October 21, 2015, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) published two new Federal Register Notices (FRN) announcing the modification of the National Customs Automation Program (NCAP) Test concerning the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE. The FRNs include:
• 80 FR 63815 - announced the deployment of entry types 51 and 52 and certain modes of transportation to ACE - http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2015-10-21/pdf/2015-26608.pdf
• 80 FR 63817 – announced the expansion of the ACE Portal to allow the trade community to establish Exporter Accounts - http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2015-10-21/pdf/2015-26751.pdf
