C-TPAT will be launching the delayed deployment of Portal 2.0 Phase II, the next step in the new C-TPAT account management tool, on May 30, 2015. During the deployment, the system will be unavailable, from approximately 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015 to 3:00 a.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015. Data migration will not be complete until late on May 31st, so the system may not be available until June 1, 2015.

The previous deployment attempt was delayed due to technical issues involving system response time. This issue has since been resolved, and additional testing will be conducted over the next week to further ensure system stability.

Portal 2.0 Phase II will include enhancements to the account management tool, as well as a new format for the Security Profile, which will allow C-TPAT Partners with multiple accounts to potentially manage these accounts jointly in the future. The improvement will correct many of the error messages and system issues that users experienced in Portal 2.0 Phase I. The Portal 2.0 Phase II enhancement introduces the Exporter application and will allow interested companies to complete the Exporter application within the C-TPAT Portal.
