The Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman Teleconference Series

Dear Stakeholder,

Are you an employer with H-1B workers?

Are you an employee or individual who wants to know how to file an H-1B-related complaint?

Are you an H-1B worker with questions about your rights?

If so, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman will host a teleconference to discuss H-1B Enforcement Issues with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Department of Justice (DOJ)–Immigrant and Employee Rights Section (IER), and Department of Labor (DOL)–Wage and Hour Division. Specifically, we will cover the following:

  • Compliance and systematic review of H-1B petitions to ensure the integrity of the immigration benefits system
  • Wage and Hour laws for H-1B nonimmigrant workers and the complaint process
  • H-1B investigations and interagency activity
  • Noncompliance, fraud and reporting fraud

We will open the telephone lines so you can ask questions at the end of the call.

We look forward to hearing from you on these and related issues, and invite the public to register for this important teleconference using the link below.
