CIS Ombudsman Teleconference on USCIS Applicant Support Services

Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman

Dear Stakeholder,

On Thursday, February 14, 2019, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm EST, the Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman will host a teleconference with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to discuss recent updates to the agency’s applicant support services, specifically focusing on USCIS Contact Centers, myUSCIS and the updated in-person inquiry process.

Over the past year USCIS has made changes to the ways it interacts with the public and provides support services to applicants and petitioners filing for immigration benefits with USCIS.  During our teleconference, USCIS experts will discuss the agency’s recent updates to applicant and petitioner support services and examine the underlying need for these changes as well as the challenges attending them. Topics will include the USCIS Contact Centers, myUSCIS, and making an in-person inquiry with a local field office.

We will open the lines so you can ask questions and provide comments at the end of the call.

We invite the public to register for this important teleconference using the link below.
