USDA ReConnect & Community Connect Grant Workshop

Please plan on joining USDA for a ReConnect & Community Connect Grant Workshop.

USDA's new Rural Broadband ReConnect program furnishes loans and grants to provide funds for the costs of construction, improvement, or acquisition of facilities and equipment needed to provide broadband service in eligible rural areas.

The Community Connect Grant program helps fund broadband deployment into rural communities where it is not yet economically viable for private sector providers to deliver service.

This workshop is open to telephone and electric coops, local units of government, current and potential grantees, consultants, and any interested organizations!

Topics covered will include program compliance and documents, application requirements, program resources, application process examples, and guidance toward submitting a complete application.

The workshop will be held in Columbia, MO on Tuesday, March 26th.  The morning session (9 am to 11 am) will cover the ReConnect program and the afternoon session (1 pm to 4 pm) will cover the Community Connect program.  Please plan on joining us for either or both, depending on your interest.

The registration form, attached below, must be completed and emailed to Chris Collins at chris.collins@wdc.usda.gov by March 25th if you plan on attending the workshop.
