Nebraska FSA, NRCS Seeking Candidates for Internships, Full-Time Jobs Across the State

We Are Hiring FSA

USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) both currently are hiring for multiple positions at locations across Nebraska. These are for paid internships for college students, as well as full-time, permanent positions. 

FARM SERVICE AGENCY
FSA currently is seeking college students to serve as farm loan program interns in six locations across the state, including Hastings, Lexington, Scottsbluff, Valentine, Wayne, and the Nebraska State Office in Lincoln. These student trainees will work in farm loan programs under the Pathways Student Internship Program. This program provides students paid internships to explore federal careers while still in school. FSA also currently is hiring County Program Technicians in multiple locations. County Program Technicians are responsible for carrying out office activities to provide technical assistance and program support so farmers and ranchers can understand and access FSA program benefits. Basic requirements include general office clerical work, record keeping, computer ability, organizational skills and good public relations skills. Locations currently hiring include Blair, Alliance and North Platte (application deadline Oct. 18); Ainsworth, Rushville and Chadron (application deadline Oct. 19); and Fremont (application deadline Oct. 25). NRCS also currently is seeking college students for paid internships in NRCS locations across Nebraska.
