USDA Affirms its Decision to Maintain the Light Brown Apple Moth as a Quarantine Pest

APHIS will publish a final notice in the Federal Register on Monday, February 10, 2014, affirming its decision to maintain the light brown apple moth (LBAM) as a quarantine pest. This decision comes in response to two petitioners who requested that we reclassify LBAM as a non-quarantine pest. APHIS and the California Department of Food and Agriculture will continue their ongoing, joint efforts to control LBAM in California.
