Dear BRS Stakeholder,
Be sure to register now for the stakeholder meeting on Thursday, December 5, 2019, involving the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health inspection Service (APHIS) Biotechnology Regulatory Services (BRS) Stakeholder. Opening remarks will be delivered by USDA Under Secretary, Greg Ibach.
Bernadette Juarez, the new APHIS Deputy Administrator for BRS will review FY 2019 and take a look ahead to FY 2020 priorities; Dr. Fan-Li Chou with USDA’s Office of the Chief Economist will review biotechnology education and outreach efforts; and various oversight activities will be discussed.
